How Do You Feel? Number Two

Today's how do you feel:

Justin Beiber

My opinion: I hate the little brat, and I'm tired of constantly hearing about him.

What about you guys?

Never again, Taco Bell. Never again.

So my goal isn't to gross anyone out, I promise, but I could use some advice.

I went to Taco Bell a few weeks back. It was the first time in about a week and a half, maybe two weeks, that I had had fast food. Right after coming home, things got bad. I don't want to go into the gory details, so let's just say my stomach didn't take to the burrito too well. I didn't really think much of it, I just assumed hey, it's been a little while since I've eaten fast food, and it's Taco Bell, haha.

A few days later, boyfriend and I got some pizza and breadsticks, and the same thing happened. And today, we went to DQ, and the same things happened again.

I don't get it. I've never had a problem with fast food making me sick, even after going months without it. I'm kind of worried that eating so much fast food has screwed up my stomach so much that even going a few days without it now can make me violently ill when I eat again. Any ideas?

Nostalgia Trip

Boyfriend and I stayed up all night last night (big surprise) and decided to go for a walk this morning at about seven a.m. We stopped off at an old, degenerating park down the road so I could show him a little piece of my personal history. This is what we saw:

Pictured: a 14-year old memory

I was one of the original children that put my handprint in the cement sculpture built at the opening of this park fourteen years ago. I was four years old at the time. I'm almost nineteen now. How awesome is that? I admit, my hand hasn't gotten much bigger, but... I'm a tiny person, so it's okay lol.

I also got to sit on a blue cement gorilla that used to be purple, and used to tower over me. I'm not gonna post that picture though, because it's terrible. (*Edit: I'm posting it due to demand):

This trip was a nice little reminder that the years have flown by like seconds on a clock, and  th-

Insomnia

So I've come to realize, and accept, that I'll probably never have a normal sleep schedule, but... This is ridiculous.

The night before last, after various other (failed) attempts, boyfriend and I tried to get our sleep schedule back on track. The plan was to stay up all night, and go to bed at a decent hour that night.

Nope.

It started off well enough. We watched The Office for a good five hours, and I made us coffee around seven a.m. Then one p.m. rolled around, and we both crashed, until about nine that night. Complete and utter failure.

Boyfriend then decided he was still exhausted, and went to bed around ten. I didn't. At about three in the morning, I thought, "Hey, what the heck, I'll just stay up again, and go to bed at a decent hour tonight". That is, until I laid down for a minute while scanning my computer for viruses, and WOKE UP at about 11:30 a.m.

I've had insomnia for most of my life, even to the point of staying up so long I started hallucinating (or so boyfriend says, but THAT is a story for another time), but never has it been this irritating.

I would like some sleeping pills, please.

I am an artist, of sorts

I'm gonna avoid shameless advertising of myself as much as possible, but I can't help but post this...

I have recently started to get interested in Vector Images with Photoshop, and this was my first try. It actually turned out great, and I am very, very proud of it.

For those who don't know what a vector image is, it's basically a hand-drawn cartoon of a character, usually a person, created on an image editing program. Depending on the size of your image, and the colors you want to be shown, it could have hundreds of layers before you're done with it. I believe this one had 97 layers, and it took between two and three hours to do.

Welcome!

So I am a new blogger, please, be easy on me.

I don't have a theme to the things I will be posting. My blog is going to be, as you can probably guess from the title, just a bunch of random ramblings of mine over awesome things, music, my art, recipes, cool experiences, opinions... and maybe a look into my thought process from day to day. I usually tend to write only when I'm upset (the need to vent... you know how it is), but I don't want this to turn into a "I'm constantly whining or swearing about something" kind of thing, so I'll try to keep the 'I'm-upset-so-I'm-blogging' thing to a minimum.

I don't really expect to have many, if any, followers, but if you do decide that I'm worth keeping an eye on, feel free to give me suggestions on something you'd like to me blog about (a band you want me to check out and write about, some cool website you'd like me to see, things you want to see more/less of on here) or ask me questions.

So yeah. I will post as often as I can, and try to keep things interesting. Adios!
