Nostalgia Trip

Boyfriend and I stayed up all night last night (big surprise) and decided to go for a walk this morning at about seven a.m. We stopped off at an old, degenerating park down the road so I could show him a little piece of my personal history. This is what we saw:

Pictured: a 14-year old memory

I was one of the original children that put my handprint in the cement sculpture built at the opening of this park fourteen years ago. I was four years old at the time. I'm almost nineteen now. 5. How many kids could say that they rode a gorilla in their lifetime?

  6. That's pretty neat how your handprints are still there; it's also really funny that they're just about the same size! I like your blog, can't wait to see more!

  9. This is really neat. In Epcot they did a millenia thing where you could have your picture put on these big marble sculptures to celebrate the coming of 2000. I love going back there and seeing my younger self set in stone. Nice post!
